Mr. and Mrs. P. had recently moved into a home from out of state, and they began to take notice of an odor in the water. We were already due for a follow up consultation from their initial well inspection, so it was at that time that our Project Coordinator was able to address what the source of the odor was. After finding that Sulfur gas was the culprit, it was also found that well casing was coming from the well and beginning to plug up the existing water softener. After being able to see the full picture, we made the recommendation for the homeowners to have a whole house filter in place that removed the sediment and the odor that was present. Now their existing treatment equipment, appliances and fixtures are safe from sediment and sulfur gas.
The couple just moved back to the area from Alaska and purchased an old house. They did a Health and Safety test from the Clean Water Testing Center done on the water and found an unhealthy amount of Arsenic in the water. A project coordinator went out to test the aesthetics of the water. Found the water to be extremely hard with 36 GPG, and 2.5 ppm of Iron. They decided to go with an ES-1044 water softener to take care of the hardness, an EVFE-1354 Iron filter to combat the Iron, and an Ultra Reverse Osmosis drinking system so they have healthy water to drink and cook with. The new homeowners will be very happy once they are all moved in, knowing their house and their family's water is clean and safe.
The customer called with concerns of their water leaving staining and currently had a competitor's softener installed. They did not like working with the other company and called us to talk about other options.
A Project Coordinator went to their house to meet with them and found that the water was hard at 16gpg, but also found 4.5 ppm of iron and a slight smell of sulfur. The current water softener was softening the water and helping with the iron a bit, but they were going through so much salt, because the softener was set to regenerate every 3 days to help with the iron, but the softener could not help with the sulfur smell. They had also mentioned that they would only drink bottled water, as they did not like the taste of the water.
After going through the test results and reviewing their options, the customer decided to rent an EVR-1044 water softener, an EVFE-1354 Iron Filter, and also an Ultro Flo Reverse Osmosis Drinking system. The customer should find themselves enjoying their water a lot more now, as they will not be going through so much salt, the sulfur smell will be gone, and their drinking and cooking water will be much better as well.
We had a customer who met us at the Payne Art show this summer and had a few questions on newer softeners and wanted to replace his big box store one for a professional grade system. We set up a time for a project coordinator to stop out at the house to test the water and see what we could do. After some testing we recommended a few different softeners and the homeowner went with the ES water softener. This is a big upgrade from the big box store one that we removed, the customer was happy to know that he will not have to worry about the softener not working.
We had an existing customer of ours that was having some issues with a older water softener. After the service tech went over the system he recommended to replace it due to age and costs of fixing it. The home owner agreed and then we sent out a project coordinator to see what we could do for a replacement. We went over a few options with the home owner and they liked the EVRS softener. After a quick and clean install the home owner is enjoying nice soft water again!
