A customer contacted the Clean Water Center, they had an old water softener that was no longer working. After a consultation with someone from out staff the customer understood that they not only had hardness, common in NE Wisconsin wells, but also had iron in the water. Traditional resin water softeners are rated to treat some level of certain types of iron. After discussion with our Project Coordinator they decided on an EVRS-1054. The customer will have to use a resin cleaner regularly or use iron inhibiting salt.
We had a customer of ours that had shop with a bathroom and shower in it. After some use he noticed orange staining and a smell in the water. The customer gave us a call to see if we could help out. After testing the water we found a good amount of iron and some sulfur odors in the water. With discussions with the customer we found out with the holding tank used for the shop he did not want a backwashing filter that would typically be used with the water conditions he has. We had a solution that would use a cartridge style filter that can remove the odor and iron. With the MAZ filter removing the iron and the carbon removing the odor the customer can use the water without it smelling or staining!
We had a customer reach out to us after they moved into a new home because they noticed the water was yellow and smelled like eggs. We first sent out a tech to look at the current system. After some tests and looking over the units, we recommended with the age and water conditions to replace the units. We then sent a project coordinator out to go over new equipment with the homeowner. After going over some options, the customer went with the EVFE iron filter and ES water softener. After a nice, clean install, the homeowner is happy to have clean water in the home!
We had a existing customer of ours reach out for some service on the iron filter they had because they had noticed some orange in the toilets. We had a service tech go too the home and take a look, he found a few issues in the control head and based off age and cost to fix he recommended to replace it. We had a project coordinator stop out to get some pricing on a new iron filter. After some tests we recommended the EVFE-1054 iron filter. The customer agreed and we set up installation for the new filter. After the new iron filter was installed the customer is happy they don't have to clean the toilets every day!
We had a local business reach out to us to service the softener they have in there shop. After the tech took a look at the system he recommended to replace the system due to its age and limited replacement parts available. They agreed it would be best to replace it so we sent out a project coordinator to see what equipment they would need, after some testing and going over water use we recommended a softener that was one size up to handle more water use. After a quick and clean install the customer was happy to have soft water again.
