Water Softener Upgrade in Neenah

The average water softener will last about 8-12 years depending on the water conditions and the amount of water it treats on a regular basis. When that happens, most homeowners have a choice. Have the system repaired or replace the system. Clean Water Center’s process is to have a Project Coordinator come out and evaluate the situation and come up with custom solutions for the individual home and residents. In this situation the homeowner decided replacement was the way to go, so an install was scheduled that day for a technician to install an EVRS-1054, a system sized appropriately for the water conditions and the size of the family which features like adaptive regenerations and reserve capacity that will help the homeowner keep their water clean and working for them rather than against them.

Making Space in Neenah

Sometimes space is not on our side when it comes to getting water treatment in our homes. In this case in Neenah there was only one location it could make sense to install a softener without having to replumb a lot or existing work.  However, there wasn’t enough space. The homeowner was able to give us a few inches by moving the dryer a bit to the right. And our water softener tanks have a self-leveling stand so uneven concrete near the drain made it so nothing else could go there, but the softener could. Talk about maximizing space and working with the space you have.

New Home in Neenah, WI

We had a customer reach out to us because they just purchased a new home with a non-functioning water softener. Our sister company provided the well inspection and let them know it something they should address right away. The new home owner was going to be installing new sinks, faucets and dishwasher so he didn't want all the new things getting damaged by the hard water. Once the homeowner moved in he had us come out right away, after some more testing we found very hard water and the old unit was no longer working. We recommend a new water softener and RO system, the customer agreed and got on the schedule right away. After a quick and clean install the homeowner can enjoy the new house with nice soft water!

High Iron in Neenah

A homeowner observed that their iron filter was not performing as expected, resulting in orange staining in the toilets and sinks. They contacted the Clean Water Center and scheduled a project coordinator to assess the situation. The project coordinator immediately identified the issue as breakthrough, likely due to the age of the system. Iron filters typically last 6-8 years, and the homeowner’s system was well beyond its lifespan. As a first step towards resolving the problem, we recommended replacing the iron filter. This would allow to extend the life of her water softener, which was also nearing the end of its service life. After a brief discussion with the homeowner, we decided to replace the old system with an EVFE-1252 and now they have iron free water coming into their home.

Older Water Treatment Equipment Upgrade - Markesan, WI

Randy, our service manager, was at the home here in Markesan because the homeowner was having issues with their current system leaking.  The unit was an older unit and she decided it was probably time to replace the treatment equipment versus replacing it.  The water had a very high hardness level.  Randy was able to set her up with an EVR-1054.  Randy was able to get there within the week to get her set up with the new equipment.
