Softener Not Working - New London, WI

Mr. H. just purchased a home with an older softener.  He was noticing that the softener was not working and they were getting iron breakthrough.  Randy our service technician went to their home to scope out the situation and try to fix the problem.  He found that the unit was completely dead.  The homeowner needed new water treatment equipment as soon as possible.  Nate was able to head out to the home right away to get them taken care of.  He discussed a few different options with Mr. H. and he decided to go with our EV2-1054-MIN.  This unit is a 2 in one unit that conditions the water.  Taking care of both the hardness and iron in the water.  Randy was able to get that unit installed quickly for the homeowners too.  That way they don't have iron damage on any of their appliances or fixtures.

Hard Water on city Water- New London, WI

Mr. and Mrs. P. had a big box store water softener that was 5 years old and was letting hardness through already. After testing the water it was only handling about half of the hardness in the water. After some discussion we found the EVR-1044 was the best unit for them. Now with having a professional grade system they do not have to worry about hardness in the water. With having our EVR system they are now on the maintenance plan so we come out once a year and service the system and deliver a years’ worth of salt so they have once less thing to worry about!

New Water Softener- New London, WI

Our existing customer had a water softener for 20+ years. They had been noticing some hard water build up, so they called us. After having a service tech come and look at the system, he recommended to replace the system due to the age and repairs needed. Our project coordinator went out to the home to test the water and recommend some options on a new system. After testing the water and talking with the homeowners we found the EVRS was the best fit. Mr. G. liked having the vacation mode for when he goes away. After the installation, Mr. G. liked having nice, soft water back in the house!

Bad Salt in New London, WI

The way salt is manufactured, like anything, there is an opportunity to find foreign objects in a bag of salt. Although incredibly rare if not found by the person adding salt to their brine tank, the objects can make their way to any of the screens in the brine tank, or the valve and cause a clog. Or even worse, make their way through the screens and get lodged somewhere in the control valve. This customer in New London decided they wanted new equipment instead of trying to fix the system due to cost. They discussed with our staff on options and our economical ES-1044 was perfect for their needs. They also switched to a more pure salt to help save them from debris getting into the softener.

Undersized Water Treatment Solutions in New London, WI

Water treatment solutions can vary in size and shape depending on several factors including water conditions, number of people living in the home, unique water features, the amount of water being used in the home and even time of day the water is being used. This customer in New London moved into a home with their family, however the previous owner lived alone. When Clean Water Center was called to consult on new water treatment our Project Coordinator quickly realized through testing and asking a few questions that the current system was way too undersized for the current family.  After some discussion it was decided that a similar but more modern and larger system was to be installed. An EVR-1354 water softener and EVFE-1252 iron filter would keep the water in the home much more usable and cleaner. Appropriately sizing water solutions is important for water efficiency, salt efficiency, and balancing upfront cost with reoccurring maintenance. Additionally, this customer added our optional maintenance plan with lifetime warranty so the equipment is taken care of, salt is delivered regularly, and will be replaced when this set-up is ready to retire.
