Mr. and Mrs. W. had moved into home not that long ago and noticed that their water softener wasn't working properly. Because of that, they were having white crusty build up and orange iron staining. Not only that, but that had what seemed to be sand coming from the well also. After a full consultation and water analysis, it was found that the iron concern was easily addressed with a water softener alone, but the softener needed to be protected from the sand. A whole house filter of ours, the ONE Filter, with a sediment cartridge was found to be necessary for sediment removal and equipment protection. The ONE Filter was followed by our advanced EVR water softener that was put onto a maintenance plan that includes annual services, and many other benefits. The customers no longer have to be concerned over their water quality issues.
Mr. V. has a shop that he uses both for business and personal reasons, but he found quickly that iron was an issue. He initially attempted to solve the issue himself and install an "iron filter" from a big box store, but it ultimately failed and allowed iron to pass through and cause horrendous staining throughout the shop. He then called us for help, so we sent out a Project Coordinator to assess the situation, and it was found that he had a very large amount of iron in his water; way too much for what he installed to handle. The best solution we found was to install our TWIST II CLEAN sediment filter, followed by two of our EVFE iron filters because of how high his iron was. Mr. V. can now use water without any concern over the iron causing any further issues.
Mr. and Mrs. T. had one of our "All-in-one" water softeners that handles hardness, high iron and some odor, but they were looking for iron treatment on the outside faucets as well. It would not have been efficient to run outside lines through their existing softener because it would cause more wear and tear at a faster rate and would also result in more salt usage. In order to get the most salt efficient set up and to fully treat iron inside and outside, we found that going to our EVFE iron filter and changing to a resin based water softener was best for the home and family. We have ALL lines plumbed through the iron filter, and only the inside lines fully treated with softened water as well. They now have iron free water everywhere without causing a shorter lifespan to the water softener.
Ms. C. had moved into a condo that was about 11-12 years old and knew the previous homeowners took their water softener with them. Shortly after experiencing the hard city water, she knew she wanted to look at water softener options. She talked to friends who recommended a phone call to us, and after consulting with Ms. C. we found that our advanced EVR water softener was the best fit because it is the most salt efficient system and simplifies owning a water softener. She also opted into our Maintenance Plan that entails once a year service with salt delivery so that it's one less thing for her to worry about.
Mr. and Mrs. G had moved into their new home and they were now first time home owners on a well. The new home they moved into had one of our reverse osmosis systems that is state certified to remove Arsenic, a fleet farm water softener and a sediment filter prior to all other treatment equipment. After the inspection process for health and safety was done, we followed up with them after closing to go into the aesthetics of the water and give them some general information on maintenance and upkeep. After some time of being in the home, they realized that their water softener was failing and because we had already been out and had the information needed, we were able to provide them with our more economic water softener, the ES, and changed their sediment filter to our Twist II Clean sediment filter that allows for better flow to/through the softener. The family who never experienced well water is now set up with a new and better equipped water softener and sediment filter, which is allowing their reverse osmosis system to be as efficient as possible.
