This homeowner made every effort to extend the life of their water softener, but it became clear that the unit had reached the end of its lifespan, prompting them to place it in bypass. While driving by our Oconomowoc branch, they decided to reach out for assistance, so we sent a project coordinator to test their water. After the water test conducted by a project coordinator, we recommended the EVR system, which was an ideal solution. The EVR's built-in salt monitor aligns perfectly with the homeowners' desire for a system that can alert them when salt levels are low, making it the optimal choice for their needs.
This customer recently moved into a newly constructed home and quickly realized the need for a water softener. They reported that the hard water was causing their hair to feel dry and their skin to become excessively dry as well. By adding a softener not only will their hair become silky and smooth, but it will also allow their skin’s natural oils to replenish.
After evaluating their options, the homeowner chose the EVR model, our most advanced system. The EVR features "Wet Technology" which tracks water usage and ensures that the system uses only the necessary amount of salt and water during each regeneration cycle. This innovative feature helps conserve both salt and water, providing long-term savings while still maintaining optimal water quality.
This customer just purchased the home, which came with a rental water treatment unit that the previous homeowners had. She decided that she wanted to purchase her own equipment from us as her parents had equipment installed from us, as well as a Reverse Osmosis Drinking System.
After calling the Clean Water Center, a Project Coordinator went out to her home to assess the water treatment currently in the home, test the water and talk about options. They found that the kitchen cold line was not on a softened line, as she was finding a lot of calcium build up at the kitchen sink. After discussing options, the customer decided to have us install a new EVR-1044 water softener, as it would help her save money on city water with the WET technology, a ClearFlo Reverse Osmosis, and convert the kitchen cold line to a softened line, so she would no longer find hard water build up in the kitchen sink.
A recent homeowner was experiencing an unpleasant sulfur odor in their water supply. Despite having an older water softener, they discovered that it was unable to eliminate the sulfur smell. Our project coordinator conducted a thorough water test and determined that an additional sulfur filter was required. The sulfur filter, equipped with an air chamber, effectively oxidizes the sulfur, neutralizing the odor. By installing both a new water softener to address the hardness and a sulfur filter to remove the odor, the homeowner now enjoys fresh, clean, and odor-free water in their new home.
This homeowner was experiencing issues with high iron levels in their water which resulted in staining and a metallic taste to the water. Before consulting with the project coordinator, they had been using a blue inline filter that removed some of the iron along with a water softener that addressed minor iron content. However, after testing the water, the project coordinator determined that the inline filter and softener were insufficient for addressing their high iron levels. To effectively resolve the staining issue and metallic taste the project coordinator recommended the installation of an iron filter prior to the water softener.
