We had a customer call us regarding their old water softener. With the age of the softener and the issues it was having we recommend looking into replacing the softener. We sent out a project coordinator to see what we could do. After testing the water and going over the options on softeners the customer decided on the EVR softener. The EVR is a very high efficient system that has a feature called W.E.T, this stands for water efficient technology. With this technology, we can reduce the water and salt used during the regeneration if its not needed. The customer should only use 4 bags a salt a year! The customer was very happy with the new softener and using less salt.

Customer called Clean Water Center looking to understand what best to do with their non-functioning water softener.  They also had questions on why they didn’t like the taste of their water much. After discussing replacing their softener with an EVRS-1044, the Project Coordinator mentioned that most people do not particularly like the taste of softened water and that reverse osmosis water is a bottled water quality system for at home use.

Tracy in Appleton called Clean Water Center asking to fix her backwashing filter, which was a rental taken over by a now closed company.  However, the existing system was not doing what she wanted out of her water treatment equipment.  After a conversation with a Project Coordinator, they decided to rent a EVRC which is a water softener that also has a section of activated carbon for city water chlorine treatment. Treating your chlorine for the whole home not only keeps away that pool-like smell but also lengthens the life of your water softener’s resin.

Homeowners in Appleton that were on well water were having iron staining and pungent sulfur smells. Their older water softener was unable to keep up with the iron levels coming through, and was doing nothing for the noticeable odor, so they had us come in for a consultation. We found higher iron levels, and trace amounts of sulfur odor that allowed us to apply our Zeolite system in this particular situation. The EV2-1054-MIN is what our customers choose when we're addressing hardness, high iron, and some odors as well; the all-in-one approach simplifies the treatment for private homeowners and allows us to take care of numerous concerns in ONE tank. Now Mr. M and Mr. L will have all of their water quality concerns resolved by only applying a single piece of equipment.

Mr. H was having issues with his water softener that was 20+ years old and instead of putting more money into his older system he chose to go with a newer option. Mr. H chose to go with our entry level professional grade softener, the ES. The ES  is providing him with softened water on a more continuous basis.
