We had a customer who just moved into that did not have a water softener. The customer had one in his home previously and after the first shower knew he need a softener for his new home. The customer had us service his old home so he gave us a call to see what we could do for the new home. We sent out a project coordinator to test the water and check out the install area. After some testes we found hard water and a high amount of chlorine in the water. We recommended the EVRC softener, this is a 2 in 1 system that had a carbon chamber to removed chlorine then a resin chamber to soften the water. The customer liked this system and got on the schedule, after a quick and clean install the customer was happy to have soft water again.
A customer called that their softener was no longer working and did not know what was wrong with it. A service technician was sent out to get the equipment running again, but upon arrival they concluded the softener had pretty well destroyed itself. It had broken parts rattling around inside the housing. Instead of fixing the softener, the homeowner decided replacement of a 20 year old softener was probably better than fixing it, so a project coordinator was scheduled to facilitate choosing between our model options and to test the water in the home to make sure we were suggesting the best options.
The customer chose to have a ES-1044 installed to treat their water hardness and prevent hard water marks or build up on their glass, bathrooms and appliances.
A service technician was sent out to fix a leaking softener, but when they arrived they quickly realized that there was a catastrophic failure and the whole softener would have to be rebuilt.
Instead of rebuilding their 20+ year old softener the customer decided to replace it instead. After having a conversation with our Project Coordinator they chose our EVR-1044U. This system has WET, our water and salt saving programming, and is Wi-Fi capable for remote monitoring and settings access.
The homeowner also decided to join our maintenance program for preventative service, salt deliveries and a lifetime warranty of the equipment. With how salt efficient the softener is, this product, in conjunction with the maintenance plan, is a mostly install and forget set up. The customer may only need to check on the system once a year before we are back out to tend to the system for them.
Hard water build up throughout the home had this homeowner needing to replace their 15 year old softener. With the install of our ES-1044 softener, we are happy to provide softened water for years to come!
